At the same time, powerful growth-supporting ingredients are applied to the scalp so they can penetrate more deeply where the follicles live.
What ingredients are used during the treatment?
During the procedure we apply GHK-Cu peptide, a powerful regenerative copper peptide known to support tissue repair, improve circulation to the scalp, and promote healthier hair follicles. This peptide is combined with advanced regenerative ingredients such as exosomes or Wharton’s jelly. Exosomes are tiny cellular messengers that contain proteins, growth factors, and signaling molecules. They help cells communicate with each other and can signal hair follicles to shift into a healthier growth phase while also helping reduce inflammation around the follicle. Wharton’s jelly is a naturally occurring gelatinous substance found within the umbilical cord that is rich in growth factors, extracellular matrix proteins, and regenerative signaling molecules. - Avoid topical minoxidil for 3 days before your appointment.
- Avoid NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen, naproxen, or aspirin) for 3 days prior, as these medications can interfere with the body’s natural healing response.
- Arrive with clean hair and scalp, free of styling products.
How many treatments are recommended?
For optimal results, we typically recommend a series of four treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart. After the initial series, maintenance treatments once or twice per year help continue supporting scalp health and hair density.
Is there downtime after treatment?
Downtime is minimal. After treatment, the scalp needs time to heal and fully absorb the regenerative ingredients applied during the procedure. Please follow these aftercare instructions:
- Do not wash your hair for 24 hours
- Avoid sweating or strenuous exercise for 72 hours
- Avoid topical minoxidil for 7 days after treatment.
- Avoid NSAIDs (such as ibuprofen, naproxen, or aspirin) for 7 days, as these may interfere with the regenerative healing response.
- Avoid hair products that contain alcohol for 7 days, as they may irritate the treated scalp.
Your scalp may appear slightly pink or feel mildly sensitive for 24–48 hours, which is a normal part of the healing process.
